Last Friday, a gathering of officials and media gathered to mark the signing of an agreement between the Worden Fire Department and Intermountain Health that promises to improve the ambulance service to areas of eastern Yellowstone County. They hope to be operational by July 1.
“We saw a need,” said Tom Matthews, who is Intermountain Health’s clinical manager for flight and ambulance services. It was a need that fits with Intermountain’s mission of serving the community.
