Dear Editor,
Just what is the purpose of war? We have been told it is to protect our freedom, mostly to protect big business to exploit other countries’ resources. There is the depletion of surpluses, there are too many people. Too many products so prices are not profitable. Then there is the rebuilding costs, designers, construction and materials, jobs. Of course, the skilled laborers are the ones who lost their lives fighting war.
